bareMinerals wanted to relaunch on social with custom content to help them stand out from the typical beauty feed. They needed new concepts, a tone of voice, and more than just beauty shots and texture swipes to differentiate themselves from their competitors.

As the sole art director (and sometimes stylist) for these shoots, we grew from occasional photo sessions that supported the internal client team to creating unique content on a monthly basis — all on a shoestring budget.

Social content shoots focused on product releases, timely events, and lifestyle. Initially intended for use only by the U.S. social team, these shots were so successful that they have been utilized by the paid marketing team, in Sephora-exclusive content, on the website, in other digital media, and even by the international teams.
